Grafted Orevac® Industrial Application: Cables
|
HFFR Compounds
Cables used in buildings, automotives and power networks are required to be more and more Halogen Free Flame Resistant (HFFR).
Polyolefins based compounds with a high loading of specific flame retardant additives such as Mg (OH) 2 and Al (OH) 3 are often the solution.
Mechanical performances can be improved by introducing Orevac® / Lotader® as a coupling agent between the polyolefins and the fillers.
Orevac® increase filler dispersion and as a result:
- Improve Flame - Retardancy
- Increase tensile strength and elongation at break
